Sports Corner

Welcome to the Staff Writing Project's Sports Corner. At the University of Richmond, faculty and staff play a vital role in our athlete's lives. Not only do these students look up to professors in the classroom, but they often find themselves seeking advice from the staff they interact with around campus everyday. We encourage everyone to submit postings that might inspire our athletes for the upcoming seasons.

"I think the staff underestimates how much they really do for us. When I need advice about life, school, or even personal issues, these people are the first ones I go to. When I wake up for breakfast, the lovely dining hall ladies treat me like their son. It is a relationship beyond coaching, professors in the classroom, and friends in the dorm. These staff members are my family. I encourage the staff and faculty to write about all athletics here on campus, and to continue touching other student's lives like they have mine."
